Emile Munier (French Academic Painter, 1840-1895)

Emile Munier is a French painter, born in Paris, and a pupil of A. Lucas and Bouguereau, whose light and fanciful allegorial pictures enjoy an immense popularity. They always tell their story clearly, and with a pleasantly humorous touch to it, are well conceived and graceful in drawing, and agreeable in color.
