Charles Henry Tenre (French artist, 1864-1926)

Charles Henry Tenré grew up in the wealthy Parisian suburb of Saint-German-en-Laye. Henry Tenré was a student at the Beaux-Arts in Paris with Yon, Jules Lefebvre and Gustave Boulanger. He specialized in interior scenes and also executed landscapes and scenes of shows and portraits. His painting, very academic, restores to us the atmosphere of the late nineteenth century and the beginning of last century. He is buried in the chapel Aguado.
